Field Visit Report of Civil Engineering

Title : Educational Tour of 4^th Semester

Objective

The main objective of our tour was to explore the hidden facts of geological structure of hills, bedding of rocks, study the mega structure of Kaligandaki (A) hydropower dam, make a sight & study the cement manufacturing process in Hetauda Cement Factory. Beside these, we were aiming to visit in Chitwan National Park.

I studied bio in 11 & 12, but I didn't studied math in 12. Can I get admission for engineering in TU?

No, according to IOE, you must have aggregrate marks of 50% in math in order to study Engineering in TU affilated colleges. However, you can get admisson in PU affilated college even you are bio group.

How can I get admission for engineering?

Well, first you have to pass the IOE admission exam. Then you can apply for admission for Engineering. If you failed in intrance exam, well good luck next year.

What is cost of studying Engineering?

Constituent campus: Pulchowk, WRC, Thapathali, ERC has fees 2.8 Lakhs. Private colleges charges around 9 lakhs.

Can Supplimenty Passed Student Study this course?

Yes. It only matters if you passed +2 or not. But you cant be older than 3 years you have passed +2 or diploma.

Who can study BE?

People who passed +2 science with min 50% aggregate marks in Maths , Physics & English or Equivalent Diploma can apply for entrance exam. But however you must pass entrance exam held by IOE in order to get admission or BE.
