Who can apply for the B.Sc. CSIT Program?
A student who has completed his/her intermediate level in the science stream from any university, board or institution recognized by TU securing at least 45% marks are eligible to apply for the B.Sc. CSIT program.
I am a Grade 12 Supplementary Exam appeared student. I have passed Grade 11 and I am pretty sure that I will pass the Supplementary Exam of Grade 12 as well. Can I apply?
Yes. students of Grade 12 Supplementary Exam can also apply and appear in the Entrance Exam but such students should present their Academic Transcript/Mark-Sheet of Passing 10+2/Intermediate level as soon as its result gets published, otherwise the Entrance Examination Result of such students will be pending.
I am a Grade 11 Supplementary Exam appeared student. I have passed Grade 12 and I am pretty sure that I will pass the Supplementary Exam of Grade 11 as well. Can I apply?
No. There is no such provision mentioned this year where Grade 11 Supplementary appeared students can apply.
How can I get admission in B.Sc. CSIT program?
In order to get admission in the B.Sc. CSIT program, a student should fill up the Entrance Application Form from any of the Affiliated or Constituent Colleges offering B.Sc. CSIT course and should pass the Entrance Examination conducted by Institute of Science and Technology (IOST), TU and then can get the admission at the respective colleges.

No. Students should pass a separate Entrance Exam conducted by Institute of Science and Technology (IOST), TU to be eligible to study B.Sc. CSIT.
What is B.Sc. CSIT Entrance Exam? How will be the entrance?
All the students willing to study B.Sc. CSIT should must pass the Entrance Exam conducted by Institute of Science and Technology (IOST), TU that makes them eligible to study B.Sc. CSIT course. The Entrance exam will be of 100 Full Marks including the subjects of Intermediate/10+2 level incorporating English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects. All the questions of entrance examination will be Objective type. The Pass Marks of the entrance examination is 35 Marks. The examination time duration will be of 2 hours.
I have filled up the Form from one college. Can I get the admission in other colleges?
Yes. Students do not need to fill up the TU Application Form from more than one college. Same TU Application Form is valid to study in all colleges. However, it is likely that colleges will give priority to the students who have filled the Form from their college. Some colleges also conduct internal test exam to get the admission in their college. Kindly do contact the respective colleges to know more about it.
Yes. In most of the colleges, students need to fill up a separate college form in order to get the admission in that college.

What is the fees range?
The fees range varies from college to college. In most of the government based Constituent Colleges, the fees is around 2 lakhs. In private colleges the fees ranges from about 3 lakhs up to around 8 lakhs. It will be better if students contact the respective colleges to know their fees structure. Many colleges offers various scholarships, so it is likely that the fees could be less.
Are there any Scholarships available?
Government based Constituent Colleges do not have better practice of Scholarships. But many private colleges offers various types Scholarship schemes for deserving students depending upon their ability.
